David Chalmers is one of Ireland's leading watercolourists. He specialises
in watercolours and also enjoys working in oils, pastels and mixed
media.
David
Chalmers graduated from Twickenham Art School in 1963. He has been
painting all his life and has worked as a professional full-time
artist for the past twenty-five years. During that time he has had
many solo and group exhibitions both in Ireland and the UK. His
work can be found in many private, corporate and public collections
worldwide.
The
Chalmers Gallery was set up to exclusively sell David Chalmers'
original art work, watercolours, oil pastels and prints. It is situated
on the shores of Brandon Bay on the
Dingle Peninsula and offers a tranquil and relaxed setting to both
meet the artist and view his work.
Prints
are available to view at the Chalmers Gallery/Studio or right here
on this site. David's fine art prints offer an affordable alternative
for the art buying public. The prints exhibited here show the variety
and spontaneity of the subject matter and will enhance any location.
The prints are personally published and printed by David at the
Chalmers Gallery on high quality art paper and inks (this method
is often called giclee printing). All prints are signed by the artist
and published by the artist in Kerry.
